1. About these terms

These terms set out the rules for using www.prospectorbit.co.uk (“this site”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

They cover the website only. If you work with us, our relationship is governed by the written agreement we give you before any work starts, which takes priority over anything here.

2. Who we are

This site is operated by Prospect Orbit Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales with company number 17484801, whose registered office is at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are not registered for VAT. Contact us at enquiries@prospectorbit.co.uk.

3. Information on this site

Everything on this site is general information about the services we offer. It is not a quotation or an offer capable of acceptance. Prices, scope and timescales are only agreed in writing.

Any information we describe as in development describes our plans, not a service that is currently available.

We work to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that everything on it is complete or current.

4. Acceptable use

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • use it in any way that breaks the law, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the servers it runs on, or any connected system;
  • introduce viruses or any other malicious code, or attack the site by denial-of-service or similar means;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, including with automated tools;
  • reproduce, resell or commercially exploit any part of the site without our written permission.

5. Intellectual property

We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in this site and its content, including the Prospect Orbit name and logo, and all of those rights are reserved. Screenshots of client websites are shown with our clients' agreement, and the rights in those websites belong to their owners.

You may print or download extracts of pages for your own reference and share them within your organisation. You must not modify them, use any image separately from its accompanying text, or remove our identification as the author.

Where we link to other websites we do so for information only. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it. You may link to our home page fairly and legally, in a way that does not suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist. You must not frame this site on another website.

7. Availability

We do not guarantee that this site will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, change or withdraw any part of it for business or operational reasons.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

Subject to that, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations relating to this site, and we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of anticipated savings arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site.

We do not guarantee that this site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for your own technology and virus protection.

9. Your information

We use personal information only as described in our Privacy Notice, and cookies only as described in our Cookie Policy. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive material by email. If we need access to an account, we will ask you to invite us.

10. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by changing this page. Please check it from time to time, as the version in force when you use the site applies.
